Auburn University’s campus is home to a variety of sustainable spaces, resources, and services that support a more sustainable campus community. Whether you are looking for a green space to enjoy, a place to recycle, a sustainable dining option, or a LEED-certified building, the Auburn University Campus Map can help you find these resources.
The Campus Map includes a dedicated Sustainability section that brings many of these resources together in one place. With just a few clicks, students, faculty, staff, and visitors can explore sustainability features across campus and find locations that support sustainable living and well-being.
How to Access the Campus Map
- Go to www.auburn.edu.
- Click the search icon at the top right of the page.
- Select Campus Map from the search options.
- Once the Campus Map opens, scroll down to the Sustainability section, identified by the Sustainability Compass icon.

Click the box next to Sustainability to display the sustainability locations on the map. You can explore the following categories:
- Greenspace
- LEED Buildings
- Sustainable Food
- Sustainable Transportation
- Unisex Restrooms
- Waste and Recycling
- Water
- Wellness
Once you select the Sustainability box, the locations associated with these categories will appear throughout the map. You can click on any of the locations to explore further. When you select a location, the map will highlight it and display a larger Sustainability Compass icon, allowing you to find that location.
If you are interested in exploring just one type of resource, you can also deselect the main Sustainability box and select an individual category instead. This allows you to focus on the locations that are most relevant to you. For example, selecting Waste and Recycling will show the waste and recycling locations without displaying the other sustainability categories. You can use the same process to explore LEED Buildings, Sustainable Food, Sustainable Transportation, Unisex Restrooms, Water, or Wellness.
The Campus Map can also be used to find a specific building or location on Auburn’s campus. If you already know what you are looking for, simply enter the name of the building or location into the search bar. The map will display the location and allow you to explore additional information about it.
The Sustainability section of the Auburn University Campus Map provides an easy way to discover the sustainable resources already available across campus. Take a moment to explore the Campus Map and discover the sustainability features throughout Auburn University. You may find a resource, space, or service that makes your experience on campus a little more sustainable.
The information featured on this map is made possible through a collaborative partnership between Auburn University’s Campus Recreation & Wellness, Facilities Management, Office of Accessibility, Risk Management and Safety, and Tiger Dining. These campus partners work together to provide helpful information and resources to support the Auburn University community.
