“Extending Responsible Stewardship,
Space by Space”

TIGERSpaces is Auburn University’s campus-wide sustainability recognition initiative, a growing program that meets Auburn’s diverse spaces where they are and supports them in adopting responsible, impactful practices. Supported by the Auburn University Office of Sustainability in partnership with Risk Management and Safety and Facilities Management, TIGERSpaces embeds responsible stewardship into the places where Auburn’s community lives, learns, researches, and works.

What Does TIGER Stand For?

TIGERSpaces is more than a name. Every letter reflects the program’s commitment and Auburn’s approach to building a more sustainable campus.

Tackling
Innovative
Goals to
Extend
Responsible Stewardship

That mission drives everything TIGERSpaces does, from the labs where Auburn’s research happens to the offices, classrooms, residence halls, and centers that make up campus life. Every space plays a role, and TIGERSpaces gives folks in those spaces the tools to play it.

A Sustainable Campus, One Space at a Time

Auburn University has long been committed to building a more sustainable campus, and TIGERSpaces is the next chapter in that story. Developed by the Auburn University Office of Sustainability in partnership with Risk Management and Safety and Facilities Management, TIGERSpaces is a university-wide recognition initiative that supports Auburn’s diverse spaces in adopting responsible practices and earning designations that reflect their commitment.

The program is built on a simple but powerful idea: every space on Auburn’s campus plays a role in our collective sustainability future. Whether it is a research lab, a classroom, an office, a residence hall, or a campus center, TIGERSpaces meets folks where they are and gives them the tools, recognition, and community to go further.
