Need a ride to HR? Try Tiger Transit.
Did you know that AU Human Resources is located inside the East Glenn Administrative Complex – just two miles east of campus? This year, we are on pace to have over 3,000 in-person visitors. Many of them are current employees who are participating in professional development classes or conducting other business. While we have a large parking lot outside of our complex, we encourage employees to consider Tiger Transit as one option to visit our facility. If you are an employee, it is a great way to visit us without having to leave your on-campus parking spot. Our building is one of the stops on East Glenn line. According to the Tiger Transit website, the East Glenn line is a two-bus line that serves stops between the Delta Aviation Building and the Mell Street Station. The line operates from 7 a.m. – 8 p.m. during the fall and spring semesters. Tiger Transit is safe and reliable, and on-campus lines are available to AU employees at no cost. Additional information on Tiger Transit is available online.
Professional Development Courses
Speaking of professional development, HR Development is pleased to offer over 30 courses to employees in September and October. Most of these courses will either be held in our complex or online. HRD courses are designed with working adult learners (full-time, part-time and temporary employees) in mind. If you are an employee, these classes can help you:
- Gain tools to do your job better
- Build your resume
- Grow professionally and personally
Please visit aub.ie/hrdschedule to review the course schedule, and check back often for course additions, news and events. Questions can be directed to hrddept@auburn.edu.
