Auburn University’s Sustainability Picnic returned this year for another incredible event with locally-sourced food, live music, and countless involvement opportunities. Over 330 students attended and were able to visit with other students as well as resources, clubs, and organizations throughout campus that make a difference. See below some of the great groups that attended.

This event was waste-free – all that was left was a single glove! Everything else was recycled or composted. The food was vegetarian, locally-sourced, and delicious. It was prepared and served by Tiger Dining on frisbees as plates. Over 330 frisbees were given out and taken home by attendees. All cups and utensils were reusable and given to attendees.

Ian Malinowski gave a live performance of songs old and new as attendees enjoyed the event. Ian is a Junior here at Auburn majoring in Commercial Music. He hopes to continue his education pursuing a Master’s in performance and work as a studio session guitarist. Check out his Instagram, @ian.mal_, for more content!

Donations of door prizes for bingo were graciously made by Sidetrack, Well Red, Taco Mama, Coca-Cola, AU Rec and Wellness Center, Auburn University Bookstore, Trek, and Masters of Community Planning.
