Want to make a real difference at Auburn while boosting your resume and earning a living wage? Join our dynamic student staff team for the 2025-26 academic year!

Here’s your chance to:

  • Be a leader: Take charge of projects, represent the Office of Sustainability at events, and advocate for a better future.
  • Develop valuable skills: Hone your communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities, all while gaining hands-on experience.
  • Connect with like-minded peers: Join a supportive community of passionate students from all backgrounds and disciplines.
  • Turn your passion for sustainability into action: Collaborate on exciting projects that improve our campus and inspire others. Think tree-planting parties, recycling initiatives, outdoor films, and campus-wide events!
  • Get paid to do what you love: We offer a living wage and prioritize a healthy work-life balance so you can focus on both your studies and making a difference.

We’re looking for:

  • Enthusiastic individuals with a can-do attitude and a hunger to learn.
  • Team players who can collaborate effectively and bring fresh ideas to the table.
  • Self-motivated individuals who can work independently and take initiative.
  • Creative thinkers who can help us spread the word about sustainability in fun and engaging ways.

Bonus points if you:

  • Have experience in writing, communication, design,  laboratories, marketing, or event planning.
  • Are passionate about creating an inclusive and equitable community.

No matter your major or background, we want YOU! We encourage work-study students to apply.

Here’s the deal:

  • We need 4 amazing students to join us for 15 hours per week, starting one week before the fall semester and ending the last week of the spring semester (finals and breaks are off!).  We’re looking for:
  • Applications are open until February 28.

    • A cover letter explaining why you’re perfect for the team.
    • Your resume (with a campus reference).
    • Your transcript (unofficial is fine).
    • A work sample showcasing your writing, communication, and/or design skills.
