Welcome back, Auburn family!  Tiger Dining is committed to bringing more fresh, local and sustainable food options to campus.  Be sure to check out:  Plains to Plate (P2P), our flagship Sustainability-focused restaurant in the South end of Lupton Hall.  Plains to Plate features locally and responsibly raised meats and produce in fresh, delicious recipes!  Some popular menu options are the rainbow kale slaw, quinoa salad, goat cheese & kale baked pasta, rosemary mustard braised pork, roasted sweet potato salad, and fresh fruit.  Lupton Deli has become a food truck, and the AU Smokehouse has moved to the old Deli location (NW side of Lupton Hall).  AU Smokehouse serves a delicious variety of meats, veggies and sides.  The Smokehouse will feature pork raised on Auburn’s campus and processed by AU Meatlabs.  And don’t miss the new Terrell Market!  Find locally grown produce, coffee from Mama Mocha’s, McEwen’s grits, bulk grains and pastas, and the Kick-6 Café, where it only takes 0:01 to grab a delicious, hot meal.

One of the best parts about locally sourcing food is the opportunity to meet the folks who grow it. Tiger Dining is partnering with the Office of Sustainability and invited these local farmers to the Sustainability Picnic on Wednesday, August 19th, 4-6pm at the Davis Arboretum.  Come meet the folks who provide McEwen grits, Hornsby Farms produce, Extreme Green Hydroponics lettuce and vegetables, and many more.  Enjoy tasting local, fresh foods, listening to good music, and reveling in the beauty of the arboretum on a warm summer evening.  See you there!
