This Saturday is Auburn University’s annual Green Game, a day to celebrate sustainability initiatives in Athletics. The university also uses this day as an opportunity to educate fans on sustainable Gameday initiatives they can adopt that help reduce waste and keep campus clean. Although the Green Game is held once a year, you will find the Waste Reduction and Recycling Department (WRRD) working tirelessly every home game to supply additional recycling containers to campus, and their volunteers helping to spread the word on how to recycle when on campus. With their dedication, we can continue keeping Auburn University the “loveliest Village on the Plains”!
