Opelika’s Azalea & Dogwood Trail begins at the corner of 8th Street and 2nd Avenue. Green directional arrows instruct drivers throughout the trail. Directions are also available at the Keep Opelika Beautiful website and the Opelika Chamber of Commerce office. The trial is approximately 5 miles long.
Two highlights of the Azalea & Dogwood Trail are Mr. and Mrs. Mike Newman’s residence. With over 800 azalea shrubs, the yard is a beautiful sight. The other highlight is the Caroline Dean Wildflower Trail. This is a great opportunity to walk through the beautiful flower trail.
