Worldviews, Systems Thinking and Values in the Planetary Phase of Human Civilization: during & beyond the pandemic

April 22, 2020 @ 11:00 am

Humanity is now facing the global crisis of the COVID-19 pandemic which requires new ways of seeing, thinking and connecting the dots, as well as urgent decisions. Therefore, what is the role of our worldviews, values and education processes in this?
Earth Charter International is joining Earth Day 2020 to celebrate its 50th anniversary. The theme is climate action given that climate change represents the biggest challenge to the future of humanity and the life-support systems that make our world habitable.

Earth Charter International will bring together renowned thinkers and activists to reflect and dialogue on pressing issues of our time. Featuring:

Fritjof Capra, Ph.D., physicist and systems theorist, is a founding director of the Center for Ecoliteracy in Berkeley, California, and Sam Crowell, Ph.D., professor emeritus of education at California State University San Bernardino and former director at the Center for Research in Integrative Learning and Teaching.
