In recognition of Black Maternal Health Week, the Auburn College of Nursing and AU Libraries are presenting a screening of “Aftershock,” a 2022 documentary addressing the American crisis of maternal health and specifically, the disparities related to maternal health.

This award-winning, 90-minute film by Paula Eiselt and Tonya Lewis Lee documents the efforts of two families that lost members to preventable birth complications as they become activists in the birth justice movement.

Registration is encouraged but is not required for attendance.
