<div>Dr. Stephen Schoenholtz\, professor of forest hydrology and soils\, of the Virginia Tech College of Natural Resources and Environment will give a talk for students\, professionals and faculty who wish to learn about best practices\, current research\, and trends impacting their respective fields or areas of study. He will present his research and findings from a survey estimating the costs of forestry practices in the South since 1952. The objectives of this survey are to better understand the costs of various forestry practices today and to provide long-term trends of changing costs and types of forestry practices across the region for forest landowners.</div>
