University trustee and committed child advocate Liz Huntley ‘93 will present her memoir “More Than a Bird” at the next Discover Auburn lecture. Huntley\, a civil litigation attorney in Birmingham with the firm of Lightfoot\, Franklin and White LLC\, represents the sixth district on the Auburn board. She is dedicated to expanding high-quality pre-kindergarten to all four-year-olds in Alabama. Appointed by the governor of Alabama\, she also serves on the governor\'s task force on prevention of sexual abuse of children. The program is open to the public and a reception will follow. The series is co-sponsored by the <a href=\'http://www.lib.auburn.edu/\' target=\'_blank\' rel=\'noopener\'>Auburn University Libraries</a>\, the <a href=\'http://www.cla.auburn.edu/cah/\' target=\'_blank\' rel=\'noopener\'>Caroline Marshall Draughon Center for the Arts & Humanities</a> and the <a href=\'http://www.aubookstore.com/\' target=\'_blank\' rel=\'noopener\'>Auburn University Bookstore</a>.
