Walk A Mile in Her Shoes is an annual fundraising event held by the Alpha Chi Omega Sorority to bring awareness to Domestic Violence Prevention but also raise money for Domestic Violence Intervention Center of Opelika. With this event, guys on Auburn’s campus come together in groups to compete in a relay race, while wearing high-heels. There will be a series of races and winner at the end. There will also be a guest speaker from the DVIC of Opelika to speak for a brief moment. Each team competing in the relay race will have 1-5 Alpha Chi’s to be their team leader’s. It will be a fun event to promote awareness of Domestic Violence and fellowship among Auburn students!
