Send Silence Packing is a national tour that displays 1,100 backpacks that represent the number of college students who die by suicide each year in the US. It is presided over by Active Minds, Inc., a national organization that provides information about suicide prevention and mental health initiatives to students. Student Counseling Services and Active Minds, Inc. employees will be on-site for this event to answer any questions attendees may have. Active Minds at Auburn University is the university’s chapter within Active Minds, Inc.
