Emerge at Auburn, the umbrella organization for student leadership programs, is providing students the opportunity to learn from successful leaders throughout disciplines. Yara Shahidi- featuring actress, producer, change agent, and star of Freeform’s “grown-ish'- will be speaking at a free Emerge event sponsored by Delta Airlines open to all Auburn students with a Mobile Event Pass and to the public. She has been highlighted on TIME Magazine’s annual 30 Most Influential Teens list on behalf of her humanitarianism and uses her platform to advocate for STEM classroom resources and inspire others to be engaged in the political process.
