During the month of February, ICC is hosting Taste of the African Diaspora in commemoration of Black Heritage Month. This is an immersive cultural experience that highlights the food and cuisine of different countries as a portal and connection with their cultures. Class facilitators are usually natives of the country being discussed and as they express their cultural identity, participants engage in a hands-on cooking demonstration and food sampling session over community conversations that create connections, understanding and campus community.
