Part of our responsibility as a educational institution is to ensure our students leave here prepared to tackle and solve the challenges ahead of them. As such, sustainability education becomes critical to achieving our mission as a university. By providing interdisciplinary learning opportunities, coupled with hands-on experiential learning, we’re helping our students better understand the dynamic world in front of them and giving them the skills they will need to solve some of our most pressing issues. We also understand that creating a more sustainable world requires sound understanding of the systems and mechanisms at play; as such, many professors from a variety of disciplines perform cutting-edge research here at Auburn that contributes to the knowledge we will need for creating a better tomorrow.
