Photography Exhibit Promoting Disability Awareness

<div class=\'article_fontsize col-xs-12 col-sm-3 pull-right\'>The BraveHeart Center for Place and Purpose\, or BCPP\, Program will promote disability awareness and inclusion in our community through a photography exhibit running from April 2-5\, from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. each day. BCPP is a joint outreach program of the Auburn University Social Work Program in the College of Liberal Arts and First Presbyterian Church of Auburn. The mission of BCPP is to provide a place where individuals with disabilities are offered comprehensive opportunities for continued growth in the areas of health and fitness\, academia\, life and job skills\, community outreach\, and creative arts exploration. In less than two years\, BCPP has made an impact across many communities- young adults with disabilities facing moderate to severe life challenges and their families\, interns\, practicum students\, service learning students and volunteers\, community service organizations – as well as raised awareness\, provided information\, and sponsored activities which help represent and develop a more inclusive Auburn. The exhibit is free and open to the public.</div>
