In support of National Coming Out Day\, Auburn University Libraries has created a display of books and other materials related to LGBT issues. The display is located on the first floor of the Ralph Brown Draughon Library and is open during all regular library hours.

These materials cover a range of topics and represent a variety of perspectives. Featured areas include LGBT history\, health services\, higher education\, LGBT people in the South\, military service and working-class experiences. They also cover many geographic and cultural areas\, from Italian-Americans in New York City to Indians to Pacific Islanders. Young adult novels featuring LGBT themes from Auburn University Libraries’ extensive juvenile collection will also be included.

The display will remain in place through the month of October. The public is welcome.
