Constructing Justice: Uplifting Humanity in Alabama’s Prisons, Courts, and Communities

February 24, 2020 @ 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm

The Auburn Justice Coalition will host an event focused on criminal justice reform legislation coming up in the Alabama legislature this year. The legislative items, presented in collaboration with ACLU of Alabama, will be placed in context with an additional walking museum and panel of folks who interact with or have been impacted by criminal justice in Alabama. The event will include a walking museum, a performance of 'Game of Justice' by Mosaic Theatre Company, a Q&A panel by Dr. Bernard Lafayette, and more, closing with on-site and take-home action items to make sure each participant is given a chance to have their voices heard, especially to advocate for humanity and justice in Alabama's prisons, courts, and communities.
