A New Pathway to World Peace

<p style=\'box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px 0px 10px; font-family: \'Helvetica Neue\'\, Helvetica\, Arial\, sans-serif; font-size: 15px;\'>The Caroline Marshall Draughon Center for the Arts and Humanities is hosting a book talk with Ted Becker\, author of “A New Pathway to World Peace: From American Empire to First Global Nation.\' Becker\'s talk will examine how America can escape from its endless war in the Middle East by using its traditional political and spiritual exceptionalism as a total replacement for its many militaristic endeavors and alliances in that region. Becker is Alma Holladay Professor Emeritus at Auburn University. He was the first Walter Meyer Professor of Law at NYU School of Law and is also Professor Emeritus at the University of Hawaii. He has published 15 books. <br style=\'box-sizing: border-box;\' /><br style=\'box-sizing: border-box;\' />The event is free\, open to the public and will be followed by refreshments. Books will be available for purchase and signing.</p>
