’13th’ Film Screening and Panel Discussion

The Auburn University Community and Civic Engagement Club and the nonprofit project Higher Ground Society are hosting a film screening and panel discussion. The featured film will be Academy Award-nominated documentary \'13th\'\, by \'Selma\' director Ava Duvernay. Released October 2016\, the film explores the intersection of race\, justice and mass incarceration in the United States. A conversation between scholars\, mental health professionals\, community advocates and the audience will take place immediately after the film.
