SUMMARY:Harper Avenue Focus Area Open House
DESCRIPTION:The City of Auburn Planning Department will hold an open house to discuss proposed future land use and zoning changes for the Harper Avenue Focus Area. The Harper Avenue Focus Area—which includes 80.87 acres in northeast Auburn between the railroad tracks on the north\\, Dean Road on the east\\, Glenn Avenue on the south and Ross Street on the West— was identified as a priority study area in CompPlan 2030. Planning staff members have been working to examine current land use and zoning districts\\, particularly the Redevelopment District (RDD)\\, in an effort to identify opportunities to encourage infill and redevelopment along and around the Harper Avenue Corridor.\nThe community is invited to stop by the Development Services Building between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. to review and discuss the proposed changes\\, learn more about the plan and talk with Planning staff members about any questions they may have.
