SUMMARY:Experiential Learning Trip to the Legacy Museum & National Memorial for Peace & Justice
DESCRIPTION:Greetings! The Student Involvement office\, the Honors College\, and the Cross-Cultural Center for Excellence in the Office of Inclusion and Diversity are collaborating for an enriching experiential learning opportunity in Montgomery\, AL. We believe this experience will be an impactful opportunity to enhance your cultural awareness as a leader today and in the future. We will be traveling to the Legacy Museum and the National Memorial for Peace and Justice. \nWe have chartered a bus to travel from Auburn to Montgomery. A grab-and-go breakfast will be provided\, and lunch will be catered at Pannie George’s restaurant in Montgomery. The Office of Inclusion and Diversity will be leading a pre-trip discussion on the day of the trip at 8:30 a.m. in MSC 2310 to prepare students for their visit. A digital post-trip written reflection will also be shared to allow students the opportunity to unpack everything they saw on the ride back to Auburn. \nInterested students should RSVP by October 7th by visiting aub.ie/learningtrip \nQuestions can be directed to Dr. Kelby J.
