SUMMARY:Excellence in Academics: Understanding Mental Health In Minority Students
DESCRIPTION:Dr. Nadia Richardson\\, founder of Valenrich Wellness and No More Martyrs\\, will be the keynote speaker at this talk. As part of this program\\, established minority scholars are asked to speak to graduate and professional students about their journey through academia and other unique experiences that contributed to their current career in science. In addition\\, the lecturer is asked to share their advice on how to be successful future leaders in our fields.  Understanding the experiences of minority students is crucial in strengthening the Auburn Family. Students\\, faculty and administrators and invited to attend the event. Light refreshments and a short meet and greet with Richardson will followi the lecture.

She also holds a faculty appointment as a clinical assistant professor of education at UNC’s School of Education.</p>\n<p class=\'au_today_p\'>Refreshments will be provided.</p> \n</div>
