They have coordinated with the vendors\, to offer key breakfast options. You can select your virtual dining option by visiting the registration website.

SUMMARY:9th Annual Polar Plunge
DESCRIPTION:The 9th Annual Auburn Polar Plunge to support the Lee County Special Olympics will be held Saturday\, Jan. 30\, at the City of Auburns Samford Pool beginning at 9 a.m. The goal of the Auburn Polar Plunge is to raise financial support for the brave athletes of the Lee County Special Olympics. You can help with this great cause by registering to take the frigid plunge at Samford Pool on the last Saturday in January. \nThis year\, to comply with social distancing\, plungers will register for a specific wave and will only be allowed inside the pool during their wave time. Masks are required prior to jumping in. This years Polar Plunge event theme is Best and Worst of 2020\, and plungers are encouraged to dress up using this theme! Additionally\, there will be a party afterwards at Halftimeall plungers will receive a discount\, and a portion of proceeds from this event will be donated to the Lee County Special Olympics. \nThey are also encouraging local businesses to get involved! Challenge your favorite supervisor that if your team raises a certain amount of money\, the supervisor has to take the plunge. \nIn 2020\, over $10\,000 was raised for Special Olympic Athletes. The goal in 2021 is to surpass last years pledges. Once a participant registers\, the goal is to get as many people as possible to sponsor the plunge. There will be prizes for people who raise the most money. All participants are encouraged to dress in costume\, jump in and join in for a fun frigid day in support of a very worthy cause. To register online\, visit campscui.active.com/orgs/CityofAuburn.
