SUMMARY:Crank Down at Tigertown
DESCRIPTION:Crank Down in Tigertown will take place in the Chewacla State Park on April 17-18\, 2021. \nThe course at this park will use a combination of tight and twisty single track and wide dirt roads to test the racer’s fitness and bike handling skills.  The seemingly flat course is deceiving as the constant up/down results in 381 feet of elevation gain per HS lap. \nSpectators bring your noisemakers because as the trail meanders through the woods\, there are several opportunities to see the race unfolding from your seats in the infield area. Don’t let the lap distances fool you\, lap times on this course will be on par with other\, longer courses this season.

SUMMARY:Mock Interview Days
DESCRIPTION:Practice is a very important part of the interview and the job-seeking process. The University Career Center will host a two-day Mock Interview Day Sept. 8-9 from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. for all currently enrolled students at Auburn University. For Mock Interview Day\, industry recruiters and employers are volunteering their time to meet via Zoom and provide practice interviews for students. Students will be paired to interview with an individual that works with\, or recruits for\, their specific major.\nEach interview will last approximately 30 minutes\, which includes feedback from the interviewer on what was done well as what could be improved. Each mock interview will be a way for students to practice; however\, the interview will be much more than “just practice.” \nBenefits: \n-Gain experience interviewing and build confidence \n-Receive interviewing feedback\, tips\, and suggestions \n-Reduce anxiety about the interview process \n-Ask industry-specific questions to employers and recruiters \nTo enhance the experience during Mock Interview Day\, we ask that students register now and let us know their intended career field\, major and times available to be matched with an appropriate professional. Students will receive a confirmation email with their set time prior to the event. \nRegister now at <a href='https://aub.ie/MID_Reg'>https://aub.ie/MID_Reg</a>
