SUMMARY:A Brave Space to Be
DESCRIPTION:OID\, University Outreach and the National Forum for Black Public Administrators is hosting the annual MLK Celebration Breakfast. This year’s theme\, Honoring the Dream: Exploring 21st Century Civic Engagement and Advocacy\, will highlight members of our community who are working to impact social change on the local level. While the experience will be virtual\, tradition will be upheld the tradition of breaking bread together by providing two options for breakfast. Auburn Alumnus Chef Justin Robinson will provide a cooking experience option for all attendees and there will alternatively be an option to purchase and pick-up a breakfast meal provided by local vendors: Lucy’s (locally-owned Auburn Restaurant) or Jahvon’s (locally-owned Opelika restaurant). They have coordinated with the vendors\, to offer key breakfast options. You can select your virtual dining option by visiting the registration website.
