SUMMARY:February Outdoor Film Series: Kiss the Ground
DESCRIPTION:Bring your Cup and Chairs because Office of Sustainability is hosting an Outdoor Films Series in February. The first film\, hosted in collaboration with the Crop\, Soil\, & Environmental Sciences Graduate Student Association\, is Kiss the Ground. This documentary features farmers and communities cultivating healthy soils full of microbes and roots that draw down carbon from the atmosphere and store it in the ground. Step into the inspiring world of regenerative agriculture and see how healthy soils contribute to building resilience\, reversing climate change\, restoring water cycles\, and supporting food security and farmers.\n\n\n\n\nThe free screening will be held February 12 from 6:15–8 p.m. in the Langdon Courtyard. Complimentary popcorn\, hot chocolate\, and tea are provided. Bring your own mug\, chair\, and blanket. In the case of inclement weather\, the screening will be moved indoors into Langdon Hall. Parking without a permit is allowed on campus after 5:30 p.m.
