DESCRIPTION:Join Kreher guides for a peaceful morning walk as you take in the many sights and sounds of the Preserve.  Nature Walks offer excellent opportunities to socialize and learn while enjoying fresh air and exercise in our beautiful outdoors.\nNature Walks are for adults only and are offered on the second Thursday of each month from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. Pre-registration is not required. Each month features a new seasonal theme. Groups meet at the pavilion.\nNature Walks are free – donations are welcomed. This event will be canceled in the event of rain.

DESCRIPTION:RSVP requested by May 11 to join the Caroline Draughn Center for the Arts and Humanities for a conversation with Caleb Johnson\, inaugural recipient of the Creative Writing Residency at Pebble Hill. \nCaleb Johnson is the author of the novels Telegraph Road (Hub City Press\, Fall 2027) and Treeborne (Picador)\, which received an honorable mention for the Southern Book Prize and was longlisted for The Crook’s Corner Book Prize. Caleb grew up in Arley\, AL\, studied journalism at The University of Alabama\, and earned an MFA in creative writing from the University of Wyoming. Currently\, Caleb teaches creative writing at Appalachian State University. \nLunch provided.
