SUMMARY:Free Screening of Sallie's Ashes
DESCRIPTION:The League of Women Voters of East Alabama will be hosting a free screening of the short documentary Sallie’s Ashes\, an Oscar-qualifying film about an Alabama group’s fight to protect Mobile Bay from toxic coal ash. Two of the activists featured in this film will be joining us to discuss the threats posed by Coal Ash to Alabama’s waterways. \n  \nThe screening will be Monday\, March 16 at 6 p.m. at BOXCAR in Opelika (706 First Avenue). Seating is limited\, so show up a little early to claim your spot.
