DESCRIPTION:This event will provide an opportunity for students\, faculty\, and staff to connect with local nonprofit organizations virtually. The Office of Public Service noticed an increase in volunteer needs from agencies\, fueling its desire to revolutionize the way it creates events for students on campus. \nThe Virtual Volunteer Fair will showcase the great work these local nonprofit and government organizations are undertaking in this diverse community. These organizations are focusing on areas such as housing\, education\, art\, food insecurity\, and more. . Everyone is welcome to access the volunteer fair for opportunities and general information about the amazing work these nonprofit organizations are doing in Lee and Macon County. \nThis is a chance for students who have service projects to complete in the coming school year to connect with these organizations.
