SUMMARY:Water Festival
DESCRIPTION:The Auburn University Water Resources Center is holding a free family-friendly Water Festival at the Davis E. Arboretum with water-related games and activities. Come meet local water conservation organizations like Alabama Water Watch\, Alabama Rivers Alliance\, and Coosa Riverkeeper. East Alabama Fly Fishing will have fly casting demonstrations and practice rods for kids. The Amsterdam food truck will have food and drinks available for purchase. \nThere will also be showings of the film “River Dreams” at 5:15 and again at 6:45. The documentary follows Hunter Nichols’ journey from his hometown of Birmingham\, Alabama\, to the Gulf of Mexico using part of Alabama’s 132\,000 miles of rivers. \nFor more information\, contact Sara Bolds at szb0132@auburn.edu.
