TESS\\, or Together Embracing Successful Scholar\\, Talks feature distinguished women scholars at Auburn University. This session will focus on the topic of the substance of things not seen. The speakers will include Kira Bowen discussing what\'s so bad about peanuts\\, Lynne Patrick examining the un-seen poor and Miranda Reed explaining the early stages of Alzheimer\'s disease. A light reception will take place at the conclusion of the event. This event is hosted by the Women in Science and Engineering Institute and the Office of Inclusion and Diversity.
