Because it takes time for your absentee ballot application to be received and then for the ballot to reach you and for you to return your ballot, it is suggested you make the request for an absentee ballot no later than October 10.  This will help ensure you, the election managers, and the United State Postal Service have time to complete each step in the absentee voting process for the 2020 General Election.
