November 2, 2018 @ 6:00 pm

<div class=\'article_body\'>
The Office of International Programs and Mosaic Theatre Company are hosting an event to share two of the most common human experiences: food and storytelling. “Stories from Home: An Evening of Shared Experiences.\' They invite students\, faculty\, staff and community members to sit together over a free\, internationally-themed dinner and to share stories that highlight our commonalities and our differences.

“The Office of International Programs and Mosaic Theatre Company are proud to partner and bring the community a forward-thinking event that encourages cultural collaboration and conversation\,” said Jennifer Mason\, director of international initiatives. “We hope that attendees enjoy the authentic artistic expression of stories from around the world and the international flavors that accompany them.”

Intimate group discussions will be facilitated by members of the Mosaic Theatre Company and will focus on the ways stories carry our cultural identity and experiences. Come prepared to share\, participate and connect. This event is free\, but space is limited to the first 60 attendees.

“The Stories from Home event is intended to broaden people’s perspectives while also allowing them to share their own stories that they may have never had the opportunity to share before\,” said Brentley Walker\, Mosaic Theatre Company student. “Auburn is a town filled with diversity\, and it’s important for us as both a city and university to celebrate that.”
