Interested in mentoring area youth?  Consider joining Project Uplift.
The first step in becoming a mentor is to attend the 4-hour training.  This may seem long to you now\, but it is expected you will find it very helpful and interesting\, as it is designed to answer all of your questions.

Please arrive on time and expect to stay until the end. The full training program is required to become a volunteer. Bringing a note pad and pen will be helpful. You do not have to sign up in advance to attend a session – simply attend the session that is best suited for you. You will receive the official mentor application at the training session.
