During this fun interactive program\, attendees will learn how fire shapes the natural landscape of the forest and participate in a prescribed burn\, weather permitting. The City of Auburn Fire Department and Smokey the Bear will also be on hand to teach fire safety. Children will enjoy exploring a fire truck and other hands-on activities including a longleaf pine maze and charcoal drawings.
