<td>The theme for this year’s summit is “Putting Knowledge Into Action.” There will be two training tracks with a keynote session at 11:00 am CST featuring legendary football player, coach and leadership expert, Bill Curry, and philanthropist and writer Echo Garrett.

Coach Bill Curry served as head football coach for Georgia Tech (’80-’86), the University of Alabama (‘87-’89), and the University of Kentucky (’90-’96). His NFL career included two Super Bowl titles and a stint as the President of the NFL Players Association. Coach Bill Curry is an inspiring philanthropist who has long-time advocate for The Orange Duffel Bag Initiative, a nonprofit organization based out of Atlanta that provides certified life coaching and ongoing advocacy for our nation’s most vulnerable high school and college students, helping them achieve education success.

Echo Garrett is an award-winning writer and journalist and co-founder of The Orange Duffel Bag Initiative (ODB). She is co-author of My Orange Duffel Bag, the basis of ODB’s coaching curriculum and a tireless advocate for ODB youth.

Other summit speakers include: Burton Crenshaw, President of the Central Alabama Community Foundation; Ben Moser, President and CEO of The United Way of the Chattahoochee Valley; Dena Little, Founder of Storybook Farm; Chad Dubois, Communication and Marketing Coordinator at the Central Alabama Community Foundation.
