The Cary Center for the Advancement of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies features Karen Sodomick, chief communications officer for Harlem Children’s Zone, or HCZ, in a virtual roundtable on the topic of “Innovation Through Crisis.” Participants will learn how she and the team at HCZ used the pandemic to grow and innovate their operations. The Harlem Children’s Zone started with an ambitious and audacious mission: to end intergenerational poverty in Central Harlem and lead the way for other long-distressed communities nationwide and around the world to do the same.
