The days of roaming aimlessly through the library and stadium parking decks are no more as AU Transportation Services introduces their app, War Eagle Parking. This app provides students, staff, and the community with real time information on parking spaces, even going as far as giving the specific location of the spot in the lot.
If you have a specific parking lot in mind to attend your class, study session, or event, War Eagle Parking lets you filter parking spaces by areas around campus. Considering the filters you apply, the app configures the best place for you to park based on the current availability. Once you find a spot, the app also allows notifies you of nearby Tiger Transit stops as well as bike sharing locations for your convenience. In addition, the app notes the parking pass required to park in each lot, making it even easier to avoid getting a parking ticket. With testing season and its inevitable late night study sessions quickly approaching, this app could not have come at a better time.
You can download War Eagle Parking on Apple and Android devices. The app can also be found by searching “au parking” in app stores. More information on this exciting new tool can be found by visiting the AU Parking webpage.
